Directions to Dean Court, Upper Dean
It will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to reach us by road from London, 3 hours from Leeds, 1 hour 45 minutes from Birmingham, 3 hours from Bristol, and 45 minutes from Cambridge.
Train stations within a 20-minute drive include St. Neots, Huntingdon, and Bedford: trains run regularly from Kings Cross to St Neots. Outside of peak hours, an hourly service takes about 50 minutes. There are regular fast trains during peak hours.
Driving: from the A1 (St. Neots to Upper Dean: 20 mins)
Come off the A1 at St. Neots at the junction with the B645 (signposted St. Neots and Higham Ferrers). Follow signs towards Higham Ferrers. Continue along the B645 through Kimbolton (10 mins) and Tilbrook (15 mins), until you see a left-hand turn to Upper Dean and Lower Dean (on a fairly sharp right-hand bend opposite a farm). Follow this road for 3 km until you reach Upper Dean.
Driving: from the M1 (J15 to Upper Dean: 45 mins, J14 to Upper Dean: 1 hour)
Northbound: exit the M1 at junction 14, joining the A509.Follow the A509 towards Wellingborough and then join the A45 East. Follow the A45 until you reach the Chowns Mill roundabout onto the A6 Rushden by-pass. Stay on the A6 until you see the sign for Kimbolton (the B645) to your left. Follow the B645 until you see a right turn to Lower Dean and Shelton (on a fairly sharp left-hand bend on the road opposite a farm). Follow this road until you reach Upper Dean.
Southbound: exit the M1 at Junction 15, joining the A508. Take the A45 East towards Wellingborough. Follow the A45 until you reach the Chowns Mill roundabout. Take the third exit at Chowns Mill roundabout onto the A6 Rushden by-pass. Stay on the A6 until you see the sign for Kimbolton (the B645) to your left. Follow the B645 until you see a right turn to Lower Dean and Shelton (on a fairly sharp left-hand bend on the road opposite a farm). Follow this road until you reach Upper Dean.
Finding Us in Upper Dean
Enter Upper Dean, go past the church, round a sharp right-hand bend, and turn right into Brook Lane just after a small bridge. If you get to “The Three Compasses” public house you have gone too far: return to Upper Dean, turning (now-) left at the first opportunity onto Brook Lane.
The Security Company is about 200m further along Brook Lane, on your left. Dean Court is a lawned court with The Security Company’s buildings (two converted barns) to the right, a tiled, white country farmhouse to the left, and an old brick mill-building at the back.
