The Security Company has developed a package of interactive learning modules designed to test the understanding of your employees regarding key areas of learning and compliance for Security.
Called 'Teach & Test' its purpose can be two-fold. It can be used to highlight your organisation's primary awareness or compliance needs by ascertaining knowledge gaps and therefore areas of risk. Or, it can be used to measure the success of awareness initiatives by providing evidence of knowledge and understanding.
The Security Company advocates a modular approach that can be adapted and delivered to suit the needs of your organisation. This approach also facilitates specific targeting of key business areas to reduce the potential risks as far as possible.
Summary
- Each module takes less than 20 minutes to complete.
- All interactive learning modules are designed to compliment the i-wareness Security Knowledge Zone.
- Employee understanding is gauged by way of an interactive Teach & Test or Self Assessment. Key messages can be reinforced in a number of ways; either via instructive 'Teach' content or corrective feedback. There is also the option to link the user back to the i-wareness Security Knowledge Zone or other policy content where they can review more information if desired.
- We can reflect your corporate branding material by implementing your logo and colour scheme throughout the site.
- Performance is measured throughout the learning exercise, and this can be benchmarked against a post-training knowledge assessment to demonstrate improvements in employee awareness. Department, location and role-specific modules can be developed to enable targeted learning.
- Statistics provide detailed management information, including learning duration, test scores and user activity which will enable you to pinpoint areas of strength and those that need further development.
- All attempts at modules are recorded, to provide a full history for each employee. Furthermore, a book-marking facility allows employees to leave and resume learning sessions at their leisure.
The effective use of Interactive Learning
- As part of the induction process to reinforce key learning areas for new employees.
- As a feature and measure of corrective action following a security or compliance breach. In doing so, it provides a mechanism for measuring and demonstrating compliance.
- To provide an additional feature for the launch of an i-wareness Knowledge Zone, providing a focused boost to security and compliance awareness in key areas.
- 'To keep knowledge alive' - as a refresher after a period of time has elapsed and as part of an ongoing awareness campaign.
